Ajax Foundation – S’Cool

S'Cool

Challenge.

Helping young people discover their talents.

Young people are ignorant and unsure of their own talents. It is difficult for them to define who they are and what they want to achieve. The Ajax Foundation therefore wants to support young people in the Greater Amsterdam region concretely in exploring and developing their identity and talents. Biggest charge is to touch and reach this group with this promise.

Solution.

S’Cool.

The Ajax Foundation approaches young people with the competitive S'Cool programme through secondary schools. During the programme, pupils work on defining both their own standards and values and those of their school. In this way, they discover their identity and talents in an approachable and active way.

Part of it is coming up with a student activation for their own school. During a final round at the Johan Cruijff Arena, the six best classes present their ideas to a jury. The winning class will receive a sum of money to realise their idea.

Result.

2000 participants.

Over 2000 pupils have now participated in S'Cool. Through participation, these young people have gained a better understanding of who they are and what they want to achieve. As a result, they face their future with more self-confidence.
